We are seeking a passionate and experienced Data Analyst to join our team

Our new Data Analyst will play a crucial role in turning data into actionable insights, driving, and supporting business decisions, customer value propositions, product development as well as optimizing processes.

The position is newly created and will be building up and leading data driven customer engagements, as well as supporting data driven product development. The ultimate goal is to help our customers and end users effectively reducing their CO2 emissions, fuel consumption and fleet operating costs.

If you have a keen eye for patterns, strong analytical skills, and a passion for data it will be you we are looking for.

  • Customer reporting – giving customers insight into fleet operating data, fuel consumption, carbon emissions, etc. 
  • CSR and carbon emissions reporting for customers and Green Energy 
  • Insights for innovation, product development and engineering – software and hardware 
  • Data analytics to support use-cases and business cases for our customers. 
  • Exploration and commercialization of data, exploring value in combination with other external data. 
  • Knowledge Sharing across Green Energy, Customers and relevant communities 

Green Energy collects data from our installed base of solar solutions, and the data plays a crucial role for our end users.

Qualifications required for the job

  • Proven Experience: A track record of working as Analytics Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, Data Scientist or similar. 
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of data models, data visualization, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques. Basic understanding of API’s, General query language knowledge and experience with Grafana and similar. Self-driven in setting up and maintaining databases.  
  • Technical background:  Experience from Knowledge of the commercial vehicle sector or similar experience in the automotive sector would be of preference, (fleet operation, fleet optimization, search engines, vehicle technology, CO2 emissions analytics, optimization, and reductions, etc.) 
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to collect, organize, analyze, and share significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and present it in a non-scientific way e.g., in Power Point or Power Bi to be used both internally and externally by the commercial team.  
  • Education: Bachelor or Masters within relevant education within Data Analysis, Data Science or similar.

Interdependence:

Reporting directly to: Head of Technical Sales
Close collaboration and alignment with Engineering, Product Development, Service and Leadership in general.

The role is based at our head office in Vejle, Denmark. While we have a very flexible working environment, it is required that you can be physically present at our office 3-4 days a week.

Tasks:

  • Data Cleaning and processing: Objective: Prepare raw data from our products generated by the vehicle’s solar cells for analysis. 
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Objective: Understand the data, relationships, and patterns. Develop data-based evidence for use-cases and business cases for customers. 
  • Reporting and Visualization: Objective: Communicate findings to stakeholders. 
  • Data research: understanding external data relevant for our value proposition to customers. 
  • Product development for future software and hardware: understanding how data impacts our product roadmap, and product development specifications.
