Challenge
Samat needed to cut fuel costs and emissions across a large long-haul fleet. They started with two test trucks expecting modest savings — reality exceeded expectations.
Solution
21 trucks with 165 Wp solar panels were compared against 23 standard trucks over 12 months, covering nearly 90,000 km per truck.
Outcome
Samat also saw reduced idling, longer battery life and fewer breakdowns. In 2025, they installed solar on 20 new DAF trucks from day one.
