Solar solutions built for the road

Green Energy’s solar panels are ultra-thin, lightweight and highly durable – designed to withstand vibration, weather and the daily rigours of the road. Installation takes around 4 hours for a truck, making it easy for fleets to get started with no downtime.

Our solar panels reduce fuel consumption by 4-7% per vehicle and save up to 4 tonnes of CO₂ per truck per year. In addition to the environmental benefits, the system improves fleet performance by extending battery life, reducing the need for jump starts and improving driver comfort by providing a quieter, more stable on-board power supply

Available in a standard range of sizes from 110 Wp to 960 Wp, the solution can be tailored to fit almost any truck, trailer or reefer. And with our integrated digital tools, fleet operators can monitor energy production, mileage and CO₂ savings in real time – giving a clear insight into the performance of the entire fleet.

About Imbema

Imbema is a family-owned company with more than 75 years of experience in providing effective technical solutions. Founded in Haarlem in 1947 by Jan Bloemers, the company was set up to help rebuild and protect the Netherlands’ vital infrastructure after the Second World War.

The company quickly gained recognition for introducing DENSO® petrolatum tapes (Densoband) to protect underground pipelines from corrosion – a legacy of innovation and durability that remains a proud part of Imbema’s identity today.

Under the leadership of the second generation, Imbema has expanded its reach into industries such as transport, logistics, water, energy, agriculture and construction. Today, with a strong local presence and support network, Imbema helps Dutch customers solve their most complex technical challenges. They supply trusted brands such as SBS, Rhiwa, and Pommier, and now also Green Energy.
