Discover modern solar technology in harmony with idyllic farmhouse
Few people associate rural idyll with cutting-edge solar technology, but at a time of increasing demands for sustainability and energy supply, it’s important to find efficient renewable energy solutions that can be integrated on a variety of house types and buildings. This farmhouse, which has recently integrated solar panels, stands as a great example of how modern technology and rural idyll can be combined.
Preserving the rural and idyllic atmosphere
The owner of the farmhouse has carefully chosen a solar solution that preserves the authentic and idyllic appearance that characterises the property. Instead of using large aluminium frames, which can often look dominant, this solution is elegantly integrated and discreetly placed to blend in with the architecture and harmony of the house.
“It was important for us to find a solution that maintained the rural look. Areco’s Easy-Click roof and Green Energy’s solar solution made this possible. The solution is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also super-efficient and more sustainable than other solutions, which made the decision easier”, says Jan Schmidt, owner of the farmhouse.
One solution, more options, many benefits
Many homeowners are increasingly interested in installing solar panels not only from a sustainability perspective but also from an economic standpoint. Solar panels can significantly reduce energy costs and contribute to a more sustainable future. However, a common concern is that traditional solar panels may not blend well with the aesthetic of certain buildings, particularly older or more architecturally unique properties. Solutions like the one used in this farmhouse aim to address these concerns by combining efficiency, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal, providing an option that does not require homeowners to compromise on the visual integrity of their property.
“I am really happy with the result,’ says Jens Sørensen, Head of Emerging Markets at Green Energy. “Sustainability is for everyone, and that means we need to provide solutions that work for different needs and environments, even in the countryside and on farms.“
